You could always find Mamá Belén in the kitchen making one of her delicious meals.
Tacos, tamales, and fideo soup were among the family favorites. She enjoyed cooking and enjoyed the compliments of the meals she made with so much love. Before passing, she shared some of her recipes with her son, Roger Diaz, Sr.
To honor her dream and her legacy, we now have Tamales Mamá Belén.

We do not use preservatives, antibiotics, hormones or additives in our recipes and we use extra virgin olive oil for our secret masa recipe!
Our mission is to stay as close to Mamá Belén’s original gourmet recipe as possible and give everyone that same nostalgic and comforting taste!
Roger, the owner and chef has always loved cooking just like his mom, Mamá Belén. He takes pride in what he makes and is very selective in the ingredients he chooses. From the meats, the cheeses and vegetables, Roger only uses the best. His creativity in the kitchen has made it possible to add more than 24 different gourmet tamale flavors from the original three his mom would make: pork, chicken, and beans & cheese. His desire is to satisfy people with a fresh, wholesome and a delightfully tasty product with every bite. He likes to listen and takes his customers’ comments to heart. Cooking to him is not something that he takes full credit but rather a team effort, from the kitchen to selling them at the farmer’s markets. Customer satisfaction is his main goal.
